My look for the Fall/ Winter of 2014/15 is slightly different from the common winter look of monochromatic smokey eyes. It's not that I don't like black smokey eyes. I love them! But this year my muse directed me elsewhere. I decided to create a winter look that is colorful, based on cool colors.
I was inspired by the 80's, a time when makeup looks were always colorful. On the other hand, I didn't want this new look to be too poppy. I had an urge to use cool, sophisticated tones, and then, in the loving spirit of the 80's I added a soft elongated shape to the eye makeup.
For more drama and uniqueness, I chose a bold fuchsia-red lip color. And finally, the matte nude blusher shade which I used to enhance the cheekbones has a neutralizing effect that balances the entire look.
